Jennifer O’Neill
Lead Yoga Teacher Trainer
My journey of yoga began when I attended a yoga class at my first official place of work Risingholme in my early 20’s, all good things take time I would attend yoga classes sporadically until I found a gym that I was able to attend on a regular basis and here I am now heading on my next journey.
I like to think it all started on a journey to India with my husband in the 2000s and from there I became interested in holistic healing, exploring different avenues of wellbeing. In 2015 I completed my training through IVHHD as a Practitioner for Meditational Teaching and Holistic Human Development. I am also trained in Reiki. Over the years I have attend various, Yoga, Mediation classes as for me it’s not just about teaching yoga I also enjoy attending other yoga classes for fun. It took time finding a school that worked in with my hours of availability and that was holding me back from becoming a Yoga teacher. Through my Yoga training that I was finally able to create a space in my life for my own personal practice. In 2018 I qualified as a Yoga teacher 200 RYS. From here I have completed other Yoga training courses, 2022 RYS 300 yoga hrs MVY, 2024 ERT-200 certificate Alliance, 2024 Tanta 200 RYS MVY.
A little ditty about me: Jennifer/Jenn/Jennie wife to Mark, Mum to Lily and Rory. Grandmother of Chickens. I am dyslexic and come from a family of dyslexics. One of the reasons I am extending into the training side is I’ve attended so many courses over the years. I worked as a playcentre facilitator/coordinator I disliked the paperwork, but I loved the whole philosophy of empowering family's within a community environment and that opportunity had allowed me to direct these skill sets into mentoring and supporting the next generation of Yoga students transitioning from trainee to Yoga teacher.
My passion which is also my job is to support you through this whole yoga process so that you can be the teacher you’ve dreamed of. I will hold space to facilitate each one of you on your own personal journey.
Learn to develop your own teaching style which will be unique to you.
Yoga training can be quite an emotional journey at times and it’s important to have a safe comfortable environment.
